Tequilajazzz

Tequilajazzz is known today as a band from Russia that plays experimental rock and alternative. The band was formed in 1993 in St. Petersburg. The band became popular due to the composition "Winter Sun", which was released in 1998, and at the same time it was included in a collection called "Celluloid". Tequilajazzz listens to young people and older people. Numerous fans of the band Tequilajazzz have enjoyed tremendous success.

In June 2009, the collection "Live Journal" was published, which the band published on the Internet so that anyone could download it. A year later, in mid-summer, it became known that the group had disbanded.

Historical data

According to official data, September 4, 1993 is considered to be such a date. Then the band had their debut performance on the stage of the club in St. Petersburg, which was called "Tam-Tam". Prior to that, the guys played together in the team from Leningrad "Object of ridicule", and Sasha Voronov participated in the band "Zero".

Initially, another musician, Istomin Zhenya, played with the band, he was in charge of the guitar. There were sometimes seven members of the group, as a brass section was added. In 1994, in the spring, the band became a trio.

In the same year, the band began touring French cities, and then released his debut collection "Shoot?".

At the same time, the band signed several contracts with Philly Records.

In 1997, the collection "Virus" was published. In the summer they released a mini-collection "VirusVersusVirus", which included 3 songs, and remixes of tracks made by the electric group from Moscow "Fish Types".

At the same time, the soundtrack to the movie "Ghoul" was recorded, as well as a collection of the quartet "Caliber", where the team acted as an arrangement.

In 2000, during the 7 days of the sessions, several songs were recorded for the single "Little Lie", which the team managed to release at the recording studio Zvezda, as the contract with Philly expired.

In 2010, Fedorov Zhenya announced that the band was breaking up. And together with Voronov Sasha made a team KOD, and with Alyakrinsky Andrei created a team Zorzh.

Two years later, Dusser and Fedorov Zhenya reunited in one of the Russian clubs.

Another year later, Eugene announced that the band will gather in its original composition to re-record the collection "Celluloid".

In 2013, the band came together again to hold the only performance in Russia, as their activities are 20 years old.

In 2015, on June 27, the band performed at the Wild Mint Festival.

In 2016, it became clear that the Tequillage musical group was leaving Fedorov Kostya, who was playing the guitar. This became known from Facebook from Fedorov himself. The new guitarist was Shatokhin Roma, who had previously participated in the band Ai-Laska, Cats Park and the Brothers in the Air.
